Ο Γιάννης σπούδασε διεύθυνση φωτογραφίας και από το 2004 εργάζεται ως σκηνοθέτης, κινηματογραφιστής και μοντέρ. Αγαπά τις ιστορίες που έχουν αλήθεια και ένταση. Επιδιώκει να δίνει ζωή σε ιδέες που συνδυάζουν δημιουργικότητα, φρεσκάδα και κοινωνικό αντίκτυπο, εξερευνώντας διαφορετικά κινηματογραφικά format – από ντοκιμαντέρ και μουσικά βίντεο, μέχρι διαφημίσεις και social media reels.

Έχει σκηνοθετήσει το βραβευμένο ντοκιμαντέρ Pangea (On Art Film Festival Poland 2019, επίσημη επιλογή 21ου Φεστιβάλ Ντοκιμαντέρ Θεσσαλονίκης) και έχει εργαστεί ως διευθυντής φωτογραφίας και μοντέρ στη σειρά Life Is A Beach για το Star Channel.

Παράλληλα έχει συνεργαστεί ως creative director με τα Nammos Restaurants και την Kevin Murphy Greece, ενώ έργα του έχουν παρουσιαστεί σε οργανισμούς και εκδόσεις όπως το WWF Greece, το YUSRA magazine και το HUMBA! magazine. Στον μουσικό χώρο έχει συνεργαστεί με καταξιωμένα ελληνικά και διεθνή συγκροτήματα, όπως οι Rotting Christ, Nightfall, Suicidal Angels, SixforNine και πολλοί άλλοι.

Μέσα από τη συνεργασία του με τους theSPEAKERS, δημιουργεί οπτικό περιεχόμενο για podcasts, σεμινάρια και ομιλίες που εμπνέουν και αναδεικνύουν τη δύναμη της ανθρώπινης επικοινωνίας.

John studied Cinematography and has been working as a director, filmmaker, and editor since 2004. He is passionate about stories that carry truth and intensity. His work brings ideas to life with creativity, freshness, and social awareness, exploring a wide range of formats – from documentaries and music videos to commercials and social media reels.

He directed the award-winning documentary Pangea (On Art Film Festival Poland 2019, official selection of the 21st Thessaloniki Documentary Festival) and has worked as a cinematographer and editor on the travel series Life Is A Beach for Star Channel.

He has also collaborated as a creative director with Nammos Restaurants and Kevin Murphy Greece, while his work has been featured by organizations and publications such as WWF Greece, YUSRA magazine, and HUMBA! magazine. In the music scene, he has worked with renowned Greek and international bands including Rotting Christ, Nightfall, Suicidal Angels, SixforNine, and many others.

Through his collaboration with theSPEAKERS, he creates visual content for podcasts, seminars, and talks that inspire and highlight the power of human communication.
